5000 Snubbing Unit
The CWC 5K snubbing unit can be used in either rig assisted or standalone operations. CWC has developed a complete package of equipment to be used with the 5K snubbing unit in standalone operations.

Snubbing Jack
- Uplift load of 117,750 lbs
- Down load of 75360 lbs
- Cylinder - 5" bore, 3" rod, 108" stroke
- Snubbing basket has 3'-8" high handrails and kick plates. A location to mount fall arrest devices is mounted on the basket and rated to for a 5000 lb load.
- Pipe movement is accomplished with 4 sets of EFC slips. Pipe sizes up to 5-1/2" can be accommodated.
BOP Stack
The BOP stack on the snubbing unit consists of equipment rated for sour service (NACE compliant) at 5000 psi. Pieces included are:
- 1 annular (spherical style) BOP with 7-1/16" bore
- 1 single gate BOP with 7-1/16" bore
- One 22" spool with a 7-1/16" bore and two (2) 2-1/16" SSOs
- One 24" spool with a 7-1/16" bore and two (2) 2-1/16" SSOs
- One 12" spool with a 7-1/16" bore
- One 24" spool with a 7-1/16" bore
- One 39" spool with a 7-1/16" bore
- Two hydraulically actuated 2"x1" valves
Hydraulic System
All of the snubbing unit controls are hydraulically operated. This includes BOP control, slip operation, slip travel, winch operation, and actuated valve operation. The 5k snubbing unit comes with a 50 gallon accumulator.

The control panel on the snubbing jack is hydraulically controlled. The following functions are on the panel:
