Unit Specifications – Carrier Style Equipment Transporter
Engine
The engine is a Detroit Diesel Series 60 diesel engine. The six cylinder, fully integrated, heavy duty, 14 liter diesel engine is rated at 375 HP. Features of this engine include: overhead cam, turbocharger, air to air aftercooler, electronic controls and Jake brake. This engine will provide excellent fuel consumption, durability and low emissions. The engine package includes:
- Alternator
- Radiator

- Air Compressor
- Muffler
- Spark arrestor
- Air clutch
- Water filter
- Power steering pump
- 12 Volt electric starter
Engine Specifications:
- Rated Power Output 375 BHP at 2,100 RPM.
- Steel engine hood (which covers the radiator, engine and transmission) with four steel side covers a circulating block heater and an air fan clutch.
Transmission
- The furnished transmission is an Allison model RDS 4700. The seven forward ranges and one reverse make il well suited for off-highway applications.
Pneumatic System (Air) The transporter's air system equipment consists of the following:
- An engine mounted air compressor
- An air receiver system
- A single pneumatic air dryer
- An alcohol injector
- All pneumatic plumbing including valves, drains and gauges
Miscellaneous Equipment
Mobile Equipment Transporter comes complete with the following equipment:
- BOP Test Flange
- One (1) 179 mm (7 1/16 in.) dual drilled for 3,000 and 5,000 psi BOP test stump and transport mount.
- BOP pull-back post complete with snatch block
- Pintle hitch assembly with wiring for doghouse.
- Electric brake control and air brake control mounted in the rig cab.
- Spare tire, complete with tire rack.
- Flip out clearance lights mounted at the front and rear of the vehicle complete with flag holders and flags.
- Flip down Stairs, mounted on the rear, passenger side of the unit. Complete with two (2) handrails.
- Tire Chains
- Tire Chain Rack for hanging of tire chains.
- Deck Railing -Removable 18 inch high wire mesh deck railing.
- Tool Box
- Belly Box -Rig-style belly box with one (1) shelf.
- Junk Basket -One (1) junk basket
- Tong Rack -One (1) tong rack
- Lubricator mount
Electrical System
- Equipment selection and classification of areas is in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code Part 1, the Safety Codes Council Code for Electrical Installations at Oil and Gas Facilities and/or American Petroleum Institute Recommended Practice 500B and 505B.
- Where practical, the lighting wiring is installed in rigid conduit with flexible terminations in liquid tight flex or rough service cord. The connection of mast lights is with RL 80 cord connectors.
